Audioblog

Every night, the three of us sit down, turn on a voice recorder, and just talk.  We discuss what happened that day, how we felt, who we met, what we ate, and share a few laughs.  For us, it serves to capture the memories and moments that might become lost in between the intervals of writing and WiFi access.  For you, it might be an entertaining look into each day of ours, as well as an opportunity to hear us speak directly about what we are experiencing on the road.  When possible, we will include these audioblog files with our future writings.  Enjoy!

Future uploads can be found here.

The slideshow above is a view of our travels along the Denali Highway.

Agreed, the flights over Denali pics are choice. What beautiful wilderness! Hopefully as fun to ride through as it is to view online.

I started listening to these audioblogs at 230 in the morning. Absolutely loved them. I feel way more enveloped in what you are doing by hearing the obvious strain, exhaustion, and excitement of each day. Love it. And Love you guys. Miss you all.

    • Jamie, the three of us have been preparing some hymns and barbershop pieces to share with the people we meet. Expect to hear some tunes in the future (and maybe even a harmonica!).

  5. From one ancient long distance cyclist (RUSA #509) to the new generation, Godspeed, may the wind be at your back, may the miles just flow on by, may the serenity of just being one with the bike envelope you in peace and calmness…
